HELLO!!!

Hey everyone!!!

I don't even know if anyone looks at this any more I know that I haven't in a while. But I do hope that this blog finds you all healthy and happy!! We are all doing well in the Lenoir household. Our new addition RubyJack is such a joy!! We are all looking forward to the Hamfest this year and it looks like we have alot more people joining in for the fun!!

Payten and Rhett are doing great too. School has started and so has the whirl wind schedule of breakfast, school, work, sports, Dr. and dentist appointments, band, music lessons, homework, chores, supper, baths, bed....!!!!

Somedays I don't know how we get it all done...oh that's right we don't! lol.

Anyways it's all a part of life and I have to say that I'm lovin' mine. I have a blessed family and that's something to be thankful for and a really cool thing!!

Been a while...

Hey all,
It's been a while since I cked in so just wanted to say hello. All in well on our side of town and we are starting to really prepare for a new little person around here. Richard has been working non stop to get the ham shack moved outside to the new studio!! I think that he went from Friday after work this weekend straight though just a little bit ago...it's now Sunday night. I know that it will be worth all the hard work once we see the finished product but we are at the point where it is grueling to walk out there.
My work is going well. And I can't wait until my part of the studio is finished so that I can show it off and really get to work on some voice work right here from home!!
The kids are doing good too. Rhett's back appointment went great and he is set for two years now before he has to return for another check up.
Payten has really gotten into playing her guitar lately and it's exciting to see her learning more and getting better at it. Her little band is now named...Crosstown Connection. They are available for short gigs...they know six songs now...lol.

Nashville Fun

Hey Everybody!! Hope everyone has had a fun week. How about the snow?? Crazy huh? The kids really enjoyed it! I've been in Nashville since Tuesday this week. It's Friday and I'll be flying home tomorrow. I am more than ready to be home. But it has been an incredible week. I thought that I had seen lots of country stars throughout my radio career but this week really did me in. Normally when you go to a concert it's one or two singing stars and thousands of fans. Here, this week...it seemed to be the opposite. Everywhere I turned there was a country singer or someone who played in their band or someone who wrote the song. It was really amazing for me. Just today..I saw George Jones, The Oak Ridge Boys, Keith Urban, Jewel, Trent Tomlinson, John Rich of Big and Rich, and Taylor Swift and then tons of newcomers that you probably would not recognize. Just very very cool for me.
I would be up all night if I tried to tell you all the exciting events of this week. I met so many great people in the business and I am so thankful that I was able to experience this event for the first time.
I think Richard survived a week on his own with the kids and I am so proud of him. Most of all I'm so glad that he took over both of our roles for the week so that I could have this experience. He is my greatest gift in life and my best friend.
Can't wait to get home and get back in the groove!! It's always fun to get away for a bit but there's no place like home!!

Finally Friday!!

Hey everybody!! Going into another weekend! I'm so glad it's Friday! Payten's 13th birthday party went so well last weekend even with the rain...we were are relieved when it was over. I had alot of help from friends in getting it all together and so I'm so grateful for everyone's help. And Richard turned out to be a great DJ for the kids!!
My mom had to be taken to the hospital this past Tuesday. She fainted at work and seems to have come down maybe with the flu or something. It's kind of being passed about through the family. She got to come home on Thursday but she was still not doing too well.
My pregnancy is going very good. Although I feel like there is an alien inside of me at times. I'm so glad that everything has been easy so far.
I will be traveling to Nashville the first week in March for a country radio seminar. It's put on every year and this is the first time that I have been able to attend. There will be lots of country stars there meeting and greeting and then just lots of information type events going on that I can benefit from while attending. Richard will have total control of the kids while I'm gone so you friends of ours might want to ck in on him now and again to make sure that he's still holding down the fort ok. I think he'll be fine. (fingers crossed..just in case)
We are headed to Marshall tomorrow to see Richard folks there. Just looking forward to a nice weekend!!

Monday Howdy!!

Hey yall!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Richard went to the Hamfest in Ada and Payten and I went SHOPPING!! Funny how you can look up one day and realize that your kids have outgrown almost all of their clothes. So to stop further embarrassment of my almost 13 year old...we got her some new duds. She was very grateful and I must say that it was nice to see her in a new dress for church instead of old blue jeans with holes. Rhett spent the weekend with his MeMe again. She lives in the country in Clarksville and he gets to run wild there.
Well back at work on a Monday! The day is going good and hopefully a good rest of the week will follow.
We have Payten's 13th birthday party this Saturday so that's the focus of the week at home. How to pull off this thing with out breaking the pocket book??!!
Pregnancy is going good still! I think Richard is getting sick more than me. He's had a rough couple of weeks.
Hello to Rocky and Roxane too! Glad to hear that yall are listening to me on the air!!
Hope to hear some of you on the net this Wednesday too!

new site!!!

ok..quick blog for the new site. just wanted to say that i think Richard did a great job on this site. he's so very smart!!
it's wednesday, music call day at work. so very busy...just caught a break and thought i'd look at the site for a minute.
i think this will be allot of fun and a place where i can share what's happening with me, Richard and the kiddos!! we just got new family pics done so i'll try to post those soon.
the new job is going pretty good..just very glad to be back on the radio!!
